Coaching Certifications

The following is from the Ohio Department of Education site:

"Coaching or pupil activity permits are required for individuals who will direct, supervise or coach a student activity program that involves athletics, routine or regular physical activity or activities with health and safety considerations. School districts determine which staff members need to have a permit. Those who wish to apply for an Ohio pupil activity permit must complete the requirements outlined here."

Click here to go to the ODE website that gives you step by step instructions on how to obtain your proper training and acquiring a coaching permit. Most of your classes will be through www.nfhslearn.com. Once you accomplish your training, please refer to the Go- Applications Instructions section of the ODE website.

All training and Pupil Activity certificate must be completed before starting any program activities. Please submit copies of completed training certificates to the Office of the Athletic Director.
